A reader who drives this road to work reported to us the problem of roadside ditches overgrown with bushes and animals jumping out of them along the Krzyżowa–Bolesławiec route. The reader asks whether the bushes will also be cut back following the grass that was recently mowed in the roadside ditches. The woman points out that twice, while driving along this section, roe deer jumped out in front of her car. Fortunately, there was no collision. In the reader’s opinion, cutting back the bushes will give drivers better visibility and allow them to react more quickly in the event of a dangerous situation.

We established that, according to the District Roads Authority, which is responsible for this road, removing bushes from roadside ditches is the responsibility of the road manager. The bushes in the roadside ditches are being removed successively. First, bushes are cut back on bends, turns and at intersections. Recently, the services were clearing bushes along roads in Nowogrodziec. The services are now expected to deal with roads closer to Bolesławiec.
