A female reader asked us to look into the “terrible mess” on Mazowiecka Street in Bolesławiec.
As Władysław Bakalarz, president of Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej, explained to istotne.pl in December last year:Władysław Bakalarz, president of Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej:
Responsibility for order in and around waste-container enclosures lies with the managers of the housing communities whose residents use these enclosures. As part of managing the communities, they should ensure cleanliness in these places.
And he stressed:
The company collects the waste stored in the containers in accordance with the signed agreement. MZGK ensures that the area is clean while the containers are being emptied and removes waste that could fall out during loading into the garbage truck.
What should be done if there are too few containers?
W. Bakalarz:
Whenever the Manager reports that a housing community is generating a larger amount of waste, the company provides additional containers at the Manager’s request.
What do you think?
