The incident occurred on Wednesday, 15 May, after 1:00 p.m. in Brzeźnik (Bolesławiec Municipality), at the turnoff to Nowogrodziec. The driver of a Ford, a 25-year-old woman from Bolesławiec, failed to keep a safe distance and collided with the rear of a Suzuki driven by a 55-year-old resident of Lubań.
The Suzuki driver was injured; she was taken to hospital with spinal and shoulder injuries.
Both women involved in the accident were sober. Police appeal for reason and caution on the road.
