Bolesławiec traffic police, while patrolling the town, noticed a group of people sitting on the steps. When they saw the police car, one of the women quickly picked something up from the ground and clenched it in her hand.
As it turned out, the 22-year-old was carrying marijuana.
What is more, it emerged that she was not the only one carrying drugs. Officers found ecstasy tablets on the 24-year-old man.
Both were detained and charged. The two residents of Bolesławiec could now face up to three years in prison.
