Firefighters’ Day Celebrations in Ocice on May 4

The District Headquarters of the State Fire Service invites residents to Firefighters’ Day celebrations, which will be held on May 4 in Ocice.

The District Firefighters’ Day Celebrations will take place on May 4 (Saturday) in Ocice (Bolesławiec municipality).

What is on the program?

11:00 – Holy Mass on the occasion of Saint Florian’s Day at the parish church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Ocice
12:15 – ceremonial assembly for Firefighters’ Day in the square in front of the People’s House in Ocice:
- raising the national flag on the flagpole and playing the national anthem of the Republic of Poland
- presenting official documents conferring higher service ranks and promotions on firefighters of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec
- presenting medals and decorations of the Volunteer Fire Brigades Association of the Republic of Poland to members of volunteer fire brigades from Bolesławiec County
- presenting the document incorporating the Ocice volunteer fire brigade unit into the national rescue and firefighting system
13:15 – refreshments at the People’s House in Ocice.
