We have good news for customers of the Dino chain and the NeoDom store on Starzyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec. Following intervention by the istotne.pl portal and councillor Mirosław Sakowski, who submitted an interpellation on the matter, the city authorities undertook to install a handrail by the end of April. On April 24, the handrail was installed.
At the end of February, we reported that the steep road to the Dino grocery store and the NeoDom store was simply dangerous. It is steep, and there is no pavement or handrail for older people. The same steep road is used by pedestrians, drivers and delivery workers (passenger cars, vans and trucks).
For now, the city has responded positively and has already taken action regarding the handrail. We will see whether a pavement for pedestrians will also be built there in the future.
