This morning, a reader called us and informed us that the residents of one staircase in Rynek have been without gas for almost two weeks. “A tragedy,” the woman complained. “Two weeks without gas or hot water.
She added: “The holidays are coming, the family has arrived, and we go to the petrol station to bathe. I’m exhausted.
What are the reasons the repair is taking so long? As we heard, they include the specifics of the building and its installations, as well as procedural considerations.
However, as istotne.pl was informed by Emil Zając, president of the Social Housing Association, an installer is currently on site sealing the installation.
The head of TBS stressed that the property manager is doing everything organizationally possible to restore the gas supply today. At this point, however, it primarily depends on the contractor and the gas utility.
What is more, TBS wants to meet with the homeowners’ association so that it can adopt a resolution on replacing the gas installation.
Let us recall. On Sunday, 7 April, we reported on the risk of a gas explosion in Rynek. The incident occurred after 1 p.m. in one of the tenement buildings. Gas could be smelled inside the building. Firefighters decided to evacuate all residents.
