Bogusław Nowak (known by his supporters as Papa Glinolud) and the Glinoludy were invited by the organizers to the Wrocław gathering of owners of American cars and two-wheelers (Harleys, Choppers and Customs).
The Glinoludy were one of the gathering’s main attractions. As soon as the Glinoludy who had arrived at the event began painting themselves with clay, they attracted the attention of all the camera operators and photographers present. They suddenly stopped taking an interest in the old Cadillacs, Chevrolets and Lincolns and surrounded the extraordinary group, which bravely allowed itself to be painted with clay despite the cold.
Thanks to Mirosław Parejka (Parejo! Outdoor&Propaganda), a large tent and stage promoting Gliniada were set up at the gathering. The Glinoludy handed out leaflets promoting this year’s Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival. They paraded, posed for photographs and attracted widespread attention.
The group’s choreography was supervised by Ula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz, while Grzegorz Roman also provided support. Bogusław Nowak painted the group and served as its spiritual leader.
One of the greatest achievements of Gliniada enthusiasts is that the slogan “We are all made of the same clay” has the power to bring people together. In Wrocław, a group from Monar joined the Glinoludy. “For them, being a Glinolud means sharing positive energy with people. It is a very important, very good experience,” Zbigniew Sondaj, the group’s supervisor, told the IstotneInformacje.pl portal.
We remind you that registration is open for a free trip to Berlin for the Carnival of Cultures.
