Jelenia Góra police detectives detained a 36-year-old man suspected of growing marijuana, possessing narcotic drugs, illegally possessing a firearm, and stealing electricity.
At the man’s apartment, officers found nearly 20 cannabis plants. What is more, they also found ready marijuana and a revolver for which the suspect did not have a permit.
Moreover, it turned out that, in order to grow his plants, the 36-year-old had illegally connected himself to an electrical box.
The officers are currently investigating all the circumstances of the case in detail; among other things, they are checking whether the man was involved in drug dealing.
The 36-year-old was first taken to police custody and then, at the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded him in custody for two months. The detainee could face up to eight years behind bars.
