On 9 April, a German citizen was taken to the Detention Centre in Jelenia Góra after being arrested by officers of the Joint Polish-German Facility in Ludwigsdorf.
The German citizen was travelling as a passenger in a car stopped by the officers. During a document check, it was established that the German citizen of Polish origin was wanted under a warrant issued 14 years ago by the District Court in Gdańsk. (The suspect has burglaries on his record.)
In addition, the man was also wanted under a European Arrest Warrant.
The German citizen will spend the next two years in the prison in Jelenia Góra.
