Students from Nowa Wieś visited the Bolesławiec police headquarters. The aim of the meeting was to make young people aware of the dangers they may encounter online and the consequences of taking drugs and psychoactive substances.
The participants were shown a video from the educational and preventive campaign “Drugs and Psychoactive Substances Kill,” organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration as part of the “Safer Together” Programme for Limiting Crime and Antisocial Behavior, named after Władysław Stasiak.
The students were also introduced to the police profession and the officers’ daily service. The policewoman spoke about the specific nature of the work in each division and the types of activities carried out by uniformed officers.
(Preventive meetings with students from primary and secondary schools are held as part of the regional “Aware Junior” programme and the educational and preventive campaign entitled “Drugs and Psychoactive Substances Kill”.)
