Until July last year, the sight of the spreading willow at the central point of the municipal pond on Bankowa Street was an inseparable element of the landscape of Bolesławiec’s parks. In July, the rotten tree broke.
On April 9, 2019, a fairly large new willow was planted on the islet.
It is worth adding that when walking along the pond, one can also observe the swans’ unusual behavior. This is a sign that the Bolesławiec swan is sitting on her eggs.
