The incident occurred after 1:00 p.m. in one of the tenement houses in the Market Square in Bolesławiec. There was a smell of gas in the building. Firefighters decided to evacuate all residents.
A specialized chemical rescue group was called to the scene. The emergency power service disconnected the electricity.
The operation is still ongoing.

The source of the leak was located. The gas was shut off. Residents have already returned home. Only the gas emergency service remains at the scene.
