It is difficult to describe the entire incident calmly without using profanity. After midnight on Wednesday (3 April), an unknown perpetrator cut down ornamental trees and a magnolia shrub near BOK-MCC. The vandal used a machete to destroy the greenery.
The damage amounts to more than PLN 3,000. What is additionally upsetting is that the ornamental trees cannot be quickly replaced with new ones. It will take around 10 years for new trees to grow in this place and replace those that were senselessly destroyed. The monitoring system recorded the vandal destroying the trees and shrub. The police are handling the case.
In this article, we are publishing a recording from our camera. Unfortunately, it is of poor quality, but the police have recordings from the BOK-MCC cameras, whose image quality is much better.
