– I made it through to the second stage of the Got Talent program – says Dawid Rajfur from Kraśnik Dolny. During the audition, the young vocalist sang “To, co chciałbym ci dać” by the group Pectus. – I chose this song because I like pop-rock ballads. I think the judges liked me.
On Monday, June 8, Dawid will perform on the stage of the Wrocław Opera. His singing will be evaluated by the audience and the jury, which consists of Kuba Wojewódzki, Małgorzata Foremniak and Agnieszka Chylińska. – This is no longer just fun – admits the young vocalist. – It is quite a challenge.
Dawid’s adventure with singing began 10 years ago and soon turned into a true passion. The vocalist has performed many times. – I express my personality, who I am, through singing – he says. – I cannot imagine doing anything else in life – he adds. What does he expect from taking part in the program? – I hope I make it through to the next stage.
Two groups from Bolesławiec are hoping for the same; their performances will be shown on television. – I believe we have talent – says Piotr „Borys” Hanusiak from Chimera, the Fire Dancers’ Theatre. – That is precisely why we went to the audition.
– In Wrocław, we presented a routine created especially for the program – says Łukasz „Garbaty” Milde. – We had only 2 minutes to present ourselves. We did not want to show everything, so that we could surprise the judges in the next stage. We have a bit of work ahead of us now – he states. – We will put on an even bigger show – announces Daniel „Ryba” Rybiński.
Chimera has been active for 5 years. The group has performed, among other places, in Bolesławiec, Gdynia and Goerlitz. Infinity Pain is made up of two Chimera members: Łukasz Milde and Daniel Rybiński. – It is a fakir group – says Łukasz. – This art is about mastering and controlling pain. Some people meditate, while others lie down on a bed of nails – he laughs.
Where do these passions come from? – We are people who are constantly searching, who always have to be doing something – Łukasz explains. – We had many interests, but we found what we were looking for in juggling and fire shows. This is where we find fulfillment, and we keep getting better at it – he adds.
Infinity Pain and Chimera will perform before the three judges at the beginning of July in Warsaw. The Istotne Informacje editorial team is keeping its fingers crossed for the performances of our local talents.
