The incident occurred after 11 p.m. on Saturday. First, an argument broke out inside Piwnica Paryska. Then it moved outside, in front of the premises. Poles and Americans argued. Witnesses to the incident say that the Poles were attacking and wanted to fight the soldiers. The Americans did not fight back; they raised their hands and said they did not want a brawl.

Reportedly, an American broke a taxi window during the confusion. That is what the people we spoke to said.

Unfortunately, racist insults directed by a Pole at Black soldiers can also be heard in recordings available online.

As many as six police cars were sent to the scene. About a dozen police officers intervened.
