On March 29, officers from the Traffic Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec are conducting “Vulnerable Road Users” operations aimed at protecting the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists. This is the third operation of this type this year.
Officers will pay particular attention to drivers’ behavior toward pedestrians, especially near marked crossings, but they will also examine pedestrians’ behavior.

The checks will cover places that are particularly dangerous, such as crossings over busy roads or crossings where pedestrians have been struck.

At the same time, educational initiatives are being carried out, during which police officers provide road users with information about the dangers faced by pedestrians on the road and the need to know and comply with legal regulations.
