The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 26, in a block of flats on Staszica Street in Bolesławiec. One of the residents, an 85-year-old man from Bolesławiec, fainted while going down the stairs.
An ambulance was called to the scene. A doctor pronounced him dead.
Investigators ruled out the involvement of third parties.
