The exercises took place on Tuesday, March 19, at a church in the village of Krzyżowa (Gromadka Municipality).

The main purpose of the exercises was to become familiar with the church’s construction, its interior, equipment, the surrounding area and access to water-drawing points.
The firefighters add:
We then proceeded to practical exercises, which included setting up a supply line to the SD42 ladder, sending a team inside the church and evacuating an injured person.
Uniformed officers from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, as well as volunteer firefighters from Gromadka and Krzyżowa, took part in the exercises.
