This is what the Bolesławiec gravel pit area looks like [chodzi o tę za Mrówką – przyp. istotne.pl].
We have written repeatedly in these pages about the mess that litterbugs leave in various places across our county. Often, when the matter concerned the City of Ceramics, we also asked for comment on the issue—sometimes from the municipal police, sometimes from the Municipal Housing Management Facility. We understand that this problem cannot be eliminated completely. We know that the services cannot be on duty in one place around the clock.
So perhaps it is worth appealing ONCE AGAIN—possibly somewhat naively—to fans of spending time outdoors (and drinking) to take their rubbish with them. All the more so now that spring is approaching and county residents will certainly be going for walks more often. And quite frequently with small children.
As istotne.pl was informed by Janusz Latoch, commander of the district Community Fishing Guard, the matter is very well known to the SSG officers. The problem is that people leave rubbish on private land belonging to someone from outside Bolesławiec. (If it were land belonging to the Polish Angling Association, the property would be cleaned regularly.)
The commander also informed us that the guard intervenes in the matter, notifying uniformed officers from the Bolesławiec Municipal Police and the police. There have been cases in which litterers received fines of up to PLN 500.
Once again, we appeal to people not to litter. Especially since residents of the City of Ceramics can simply drive about 2 km and dispose of some of this rubbish at the PSZOK.
