On Friday, March 15, a ceremony was held at the Bolesławiec police headquarters to introduce the first deputy district police chief, a position taken by the former head of the Investigations Department of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, Commissioner Jarosław Burdzy.
Jarosław Burdzy is a graduate of the University of Wrocław and the Police Academy in Szczytno. He began his police service in 2005, joining the Patrol and Intervention Unit of the Prevention Department at the Bolesławiec police station.
Since 2008, Commissioner Burdzy had been associated with the Investigations Department, initially serving as a detective. In 2013, he began managing the work of the department.
