Officers from the Patrol and Intervention Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters noticed a man on Bracka Street in Legnica who began to run away when he saw them. The officers immediately gave chase. After a few metres, the 28-year-old was detained.
Why did the man flee from the officers? Because, as it turned out, he had nearly 40 portions of marijuana in his backpack.
The 28-year-old was taken into police custody. The court will now decide the suspect’s fate.
The man could face up to 3 years in prison.
