The annual exhibition crowns the association’s entire year of activity, providing an opportunity to review past photography workshops and other activities carried out by the association. It is also a wonderful opportunity to recognize the most dedicated members. The activities and achievements of 2018 were presented by Jerzy Paluszczyszyn – the association’s president and the exhibition’s curator. The award for special contribution to the association’s activities was presented to Iwona Champlewska. The photographs displayed at the exhibition were discussed by the guest of honor, Bolesławiec photographer and member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers – Andrzej Pytliński.
Choosing the best photograph among the exhibited works has become a tradition of the exhibition. This year, two competitions were held. In the first, the guests attending the opening selected the best work. Urszula Popielarz’s photograph received the highest rating. In the second competition, only members of the CAMERA Association voted, selecting Agnieszka Karczmarz’s photograph as the best. The honored photographers received prizes funded by SF “Camera” and the Museum of Ceramics. A prize was also drawn among all voters.
The exhibition presented 51 works on various subjects, focusing on themes of people and nature. Some of the photographs were taken during last year’s workshop, held in Rzeczka, located in the Sowie Mountains. The photographs were presented by 29 members of the association: Joanna Bruździńska, Dagmara Brzezicka, Paweł Brzezicki, Jarosław Cembrowicz, Iwona Champlewska, Anna Dudek, Bożena Gałan, Magda Gałkiewicz, Stanisław Graczyk, Krzysztof Jędrzejczyk, Agnieszka Karczmarz, Paweł Kijewski, Rafał Klimek, Magda Konieczna, Roman Kowalski, Piotr Koza, Krzysztof Łukasiewicz, Grzegorz Matoryn, Katarzyna Matoryn, Jerzy Paluszczyszyn, Robert Paluszczyszyn, Krzysztof Pankowski, Andrzej Pękała, Maciek Piwowarczyk, Robert Pomichter, Urszula Popielarz, Piotr Sadowski, Grzegorz Sidorowicz and Bartosz Witaszczyk.
