It is a real shame that Karol Stasik did not show such concern when he had a significant influence over the matter. At today’s session, the councillor worried about what the county roads are spread with and whether they are spread at all, because, as he stated, he had not noticed even a trace of sand on some of them.
– Please explain to me technically what the standard for maintaining roads in winter is. Because I did not see any sand on them – Karol Stasik asked.Karol Stasik.
The head of the County Roads Authority, Paweł Bednarski, replied that the roads are spread with salt or brine, and the discussion with the councillor ended there. The councillor was probably satisfied with that answer.
Karol Stasik was head of Bolesławiec County from 2014 until autumn 2018, when he entered into an unusual coalition with PiS in an unsuccessful attempt to save his position after the latest elections.
He therefore had plenty of time to improve the operation of the County Roads Authority so that it ran like a Swiss watch. He could easily have learned the standards for maintaining roads in the county.
Today’s cursory questions are simply ridiculous. We remember that when, in 2017, he said goodbye to the head of the County Roads Authority, who was retiring, Roman Palczewski, he gave him a photograph depicting… a pothole in a county road as a keepsake. Even then, he had passed judgment on himself as the administrator of Bolesławiec County. He also proved that he was perfectly familiar with… the lack of standards in caring for the roads.
Do you feel like writing something to the councillor on this occasion? We invite you to comment.
