Watch the report from the helicopter...
The fire broke out in a tenement building after 3:00 p.m. An attic apartment was on fire. It was probably noticed by a passerby. A total of eleven fire engines arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, the apartment burned down completely. The rest of the tenement building and the remaining apartments were saved. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. The building inspector will decide whether people will be able to return to their apartments today.
Update 2009-05-04 11:50
The apartment caught fire from an electric stove. A man left a pot on a lit burner and fell asleep.
