Officers from the Narcotics Division of the Wrocław Provincial Police Headquarters—working together with colleagues from Bolesławiec, Customs Service officers from Wrocław and Zgorzelec, and with the support of Lower Silesian counterterrorism officers—shut down a production line for narcotics.
Officers entered several properties located in Bolesławiec and Jelenia Góra counties. During the operation, they seized various narcotic substances and dismantled a methamphetamine production line.
Four men were detained in the case—all residents of Bolesławiec County, aged between 36 and 47.
In total, officers seized more than 2.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and 200,000 tablets containing pseudoephedrine, a substance used to produce methamphetamine. Various chemicals and equipment used in drug production were discovered and secured at the site.
In addition, officers secured money belonging to the suspects, totaling more than PLN 250,000, as well as a Porsche vehicle worth approximately PLN 150,000.
The detainees were charged with producing a significant quantity of the psychotropic substance methamphetamine.
According to investigators’ findings, the suspects had made the operation a regular source of income. At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, all four were remanded in custody for three months.
The arrested men could face up to 20 years in prison.
