He was walking to the bus stop and, while he was at it… stole a bicycle

The theft occurred on November 22, after 10:00 a.m., in Bolesławiec. The owner left his bicycle in front of a hair salon for a moment.

A 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec happened to be walking past and stole the bicycle.

Criminal investigators from Bolesławiec identified the perpetrator based on surveillance footage. The 33-year-old was arrested. He admitted his guilt. (He told the officers that he had simply taken advantage of the opportunity).

The resident of Bolesławiec now faces up to 5 years in prison.
