District officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec stopped a vehicle for inspection during a nighttime patrol of the city. It was being driven by a 30-year-old resident of Osiecznica Municipality.

The officers established that, by getting behind the wheel, the man had violated a court-imposed driving ban that had only been in force for... three weeks.

What is more, the officers found methamphetamine and ecstasy tablets on the 30-year-old.

(Furthermore, if it turns out that the suspect was driving under the influence of intoxicating substances, he will face another charge).

The resident of Osiecznica Municipality could now face up to five years in prison.
