The time has come to think about helping others. Take part in the Christmas Food Drive of the Polish Federation of Food Banks. Every product donated during the food drive matters.
“People collecting food are present in our hypermarket,” says Tomasz Słoniec. “In this way, we want to help and support the noble Food Bank campaign, ‘Give people in need food for the Christmas table.’ I hope our customers will warmly welcome the volunteers and generously support the campaign,” adds the hypermarket director.
From November 30 to December 1, the Christmas Food Drive will take place throughout Poland, in more than 3,000 stores across 600 towns and cities. It has been organized by the Food Banks for more than 20 years. This year’s campaign, under the slogan “Give people in need food for the Christmas table,” will be supported by more than 55,000 volunteers. The organization encourages people to participate and reminds them that although the Christmas table of people living in poverty is never weighed down by an excess of food, thanks to the help of many people it can be different on these days than usual—truly special.
