In September 2024, we wrote about major changes planned in front of the Carrefour hypermarket in Bolesławiec. It turned out that the car park was in for a major facelift.
“There will be a different traffic arrangement in the car park,” says hypermarket director Tomasz Słoniec. “Today, if someone enters from Zgorzelecka Street, they can only drive straight ahead; they cannot get through to the left or right. We will create connecting lanes. It will be easier to move around the car park and drive around it. The parking spaces will also be widened so that drivers do not have to worry about scratching their doors when parking too close together. It will be more comfortable and there will be more space. The paving blocks are being relaid, vehicle approaches will be constructed, turning radii will be reshaped, and the lighting and the store façade will be changed,” the director says.
The work on the car park will be carried out in stages until September 2025.
