Officers from the Economic Crime Unit of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, as a result of operational activities, detained a resident of Lubań County suspected of attempting to defraud a bank loan.
The 25-year-old used a forged document concerning her employment and earnings at one of the banks in Bolesławiec. By misleading a bank employee, the suspect wanted to obtain a loan of PLN 70,000. (What is more, it emerged that she had used someone else’s identity card for this purpose).
The 25-year-old will now answer for her actions before the court. She faces up to eight years in prison.
