During the first session of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly, the voivodeship’s new authorities were elected. As announced, the PiS and Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives coalition took power in the region.
Marshal Cezary Przybylski was re-elected head of the Lower Silesian regional government. On his social media profile, the marshal posted the following thanks:
I would like to thank the Councillors of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly for electing me once again to the position of Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is a great honour for me. I would like to thank all the voters who voted for me. The large number of votes shows that my work during the previous term was well received.
