Year after year, more ski resorts are being established, while those already operating are being modernized. For many years, the most popular destinations in Poland have included the Beskids, Podhale and the Bieszczady Mountains.

Silesian Beskids

In Istebna, a picturesque town situated in the Silesian Beskids, there is a modern ski lift with extensive infrastructure. Skiers can use three illuminated, groomed downhill runs here. The youngest visitors can enjoy many attractions, such as a winter park with carousels and a ski school. The Olza Water Park is located nearby, where visitors can relax after a full day of excitement on the slopes.

Podhale

When choosing a winter getaway in Podhale, we have a whole range of very well-prepared ski lifts to choose from. One of them is the family-friendly Rusiń-Ski Ski Station in Bukowina Tatrzańska. It is an excellent choice for families with children. Four lifts of varying difficulty levels operate here, as well as a lift for the youngest children, known as a babylift, which is 50 m long. For those who cannot afford their own equipment and are not interested in bank loans or non-bank loans for equipment, there is an equipment rental shop near the slope. The popular Terma Bukowina thermal baths, with pools and slides, are just a stone’s throw from Rusiń-Ski. An equally attractive ski lift operates in Zakopane, near Nosal. It is an excellent place to learn how to ski. The youngest visitors can take part in classes and activities prepared especially for them.

Bieszczady Mountains

The Bieszczady Mountains are also among the most frequently visited destinations. Gromadzyń-Laworta, located in the heart of the range, is a complex of five ski lifts. Interestingly, Laworta is the longest chairlift in the Bieszczady Mountains (1,300 m). There are accommodation facilities, restaurants and an equipment rental shop here.

Uncertain Weather

There are truly many destinations to choose from, and the only obstacle to spending a winter holiday in Poland is the weather. Recent winters have not been kind to skiers. Above-zero temperatures and a lack of snow have made trips abroad more popular. For people with somewhat larger budgets who are looking for excellent skiing conditions, perfectly prepared infrastructure and accommodation facilities, Austria should be the destination of their dreams. Conditions for skiing in the Austrian Alps are ideal—you can ski there from November to May, or even June. The only downside is the cost of such a trip. A coach journey to Innsbruck costs around PLN 300, renting a hotel room costs between PLN 200 and PLN 700 per day, and a six-day lift pass costs another PLN 1,000. Adding up these expenses, we arrive at quite a substantial sum. We must also remember the costs associated with food and entertainment. If we do not have that much money, non-bank loans may be a solution. Non-bank loans provide readily available cash and can help shore up our holiday budget, learn about favorable terms at https://proficredit.pl.

Planning

If non-bank loans are not the solution for you, it is worth planning your expenses at the beginning of the year and starting to save as early as possible. Think carefully about whether to choose a holiday at Polish ski resorts or to ensure winter weather by going abroad. If we match our destination to our budget, we can be sure that time spent skiing will be a joy for the whole family.
