Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters detained two people suspected of breaking into a vehicle and using someone else’s payment card several times.
In the wallet of the 27-year-old suspect, officers found the stolen card. It emerged that the man had several offenses to his name and had acted together with his 23-year-old partner.
Both were detained.
The suspect had already sold the navigation system stolen from the car, while he used someone else’s card several times to pay for shopping and food at a restaurant.
The officers recovered the navigation system and car radio.
The burglars, who committed all the offenses together, were each charged with seven counts. Both could now face up to 10 years in prison.
