By the end of this week, Poland will remain under the influence of a high-pressure system from Russia, the wp.pl website reports. A Wirtualna Polska journalist adds:
The situation will change dramatically over the weekend. By Sunday night at the latest, the high-pressure system from Russia will move over Scandinavia, drawing cold polar maritime air masses into Poland. They will clash with the warm and humid air flowing in because of a low-pressure system from the Balkans. This heralds an almost certain snowfall.
