While driving past the bank, I noticed a great many police units and a huge hole in the wall of the bank, where the ATM was located.
The police are investigating the case. Damage assessment is currently underway, among other things. The burglars could face up to 10 years in prison. More information soon.
Let us recall that recently we reported that during the night of September 11–12, unknown perpetrators attempted to break into a Biedronka store on Wróblewski Street in Bolesławiec. At around 4:00 a.m., the alarm went off at the premises. The duty officer at the County Police Headquarters sent officers to the scene.
It turned out that the perpetrators had attempted to blow up an ATM built into the wall of the supermarket. However, they did it so ineptly that they failed to steal anything.
It is not yet known whether the cases are connected.
