Classrooms and school corridors were decorated in the national colors. A themed exhibition of children's drawings was displayed in the school corridors and in the schoolyard.

To commemorate this important anniversary, the school's students presented a moving history lesson in the form of a patriotic assembly prepared by classes 1b, 4c and 8a under the direction of Melania Balińska and Małgorzata Maksymów. Adrian Banyś, the supervisor of the School's Color Guard and Flag Detail, also provided assistance.
Kornel Filipowicz, the deputy mayor of the city, attended the ceremony and emphasized that the school continually unites around important ideas, including patriotic education and preserving the memory of ancestors.
The official part preceded the artistic performance: the school flag, together with the flag detail, was brought in. At 11:11, everyone sang all the verses of the national anthem together, and the flag was raised on the mast. After singing the school anthem, the students presented a spoken-and-musical program entitled “Our Independent Poland, the One That Did Not Perish....”

In a very engaging and vivid way, using poems and patriotic songs, the students presented the tragic fate of their homeland and the difficult road to regaining freedom. The school's young people watched and listened to this special history lesson with interest and concentration. The beautiful and captivating performance was rewarded by the audience with thunderous applause.

School principal Dorota Basiak thanked the performers of the assembly and emphasized that organizing such ceremonies can help bring historical issues a little closer to the younger generation and teach patriotism and respect for the homeland.

During the ceremony, Adrian Banyś, the supervisor of the Student Council, announced the results of the competition for artwork by students in grades I–VIII who took part in the exhibition. The winners included: Aleksander Bociek, Lena Korycka, Miłosz Wojtowicz, Milan Junak and Zuzanna Błotna. The students received certificates and gifts in the form of books and calendars. Kornel Filipowicz and Dorota Basiak also offered their congratulations.
Thanks to this lesson in patriotism, the students of Primary School No. 3 had the opportunity to realize that it is also worthwhile today to preserve the memory of their ancestors and take an interest in their native culture and history. The coat of arms, flag and anthem, meanwhile, have for centuries been the most beautiful symbols of our Polish identity, pride and sense of belonging.
