As part of the individual activities, many initiatives related to education, culture and entertainment were organized. One of them was the annual celebration of “St. Martin’s Day”, during which students, through joint activities and cooperation, realized how extremely important it is nowadays to do good for other people. Another very important element of the project was the students’ participation in the “In the Footsteps of St. Martin” art workshops. During the classes, many interesting works were created, from which the “School Online Gallery of Students’ Creative Work” was made.
In turn, as part of International Culture Days, celebrations were organized for the “European Day of Languages”. During the classes, teachers developed the students’ language skills, made them aware of Europe’s linguistic richness and diversity, and drew attention to multilingualism and the culture of its inhabitants. Students also took part in recurring online classes entitled “Customs and Holidays in German- and English-Speaking Countries” and gained knowledge in the field of religious studies.
An important element in implementing the project’s objectives was the annual fundraising drive for missions supporting children in Africa, organized as part of the “Pontifical Missionary Childhood Association”. The campaign aimed to make students more sensitive to the needs and problems of their peers. This school year, the funds collected from teachers were donated by the school to help children in Africa.
For several years, Primary School No. 3 has cooperated with UNICEF Polska by promoting and protecting children’s rights. The school also engages in charitable activities to help children in the world’s most needy regions.
