While travelling along the road from Bolesławiec to Iwiny, one can notice very old roadside poplar trees—some of them already dead. Dry branches hang directly over the road. The current weather is changeable and very windy.
And added:
Some of these branches break off, fortunately without falling onto the road. As far back as I can remember, a fairly large branch fell onto the road last year.
Fortunately, no accident has occurred yet. But one only needs to look at the photos and use very little imagination to realise that a tragedy could occur at any moment.
We asked the road manager for comment on the matter. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.
What do you think?
