Last Saturday, the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters received a report about a man causing a disturbance at one of the accommodation facilities in Zgorzelec.
Officers dispatched to the scene determined that the 39-year-old, a resident of one of the seaside towns, had damaged three doors as well as the wall and furnishings of the rented room. (The losses were estimated at PLN 2,000.)
The man was drunk when he was arrested. The vandal, who was taken into police custody, could now face up to five years in prison.
