The incident occurred on Friday, October 19, at approximately 3:30 p.m., at the roundabout by the bridge. The driver of a white Ford, a 38-year-old resident of our county, got out of the car and began arguing with the police officer directing traffic.
Later, he got back into the car, drove over the traffic cones and headed toward the police officer. The officer jumped aside, but was still struck by the side mirror. The driver began fleeing toward Zgorzelec.
The impatient 38-year-old was fined.
