We talk about the graffiti at Wiadukt Plaza with Gutek, the owner of 61 Sixty One Tattoo Studio.
What gave you the idea for this graffiti?
Spontaneity.
And why this location?
As far as I know, the people from MOSIR contacted us to ask whether we would like to take part in an organized event and paint graffiti for the Ceramics Festival. We agreed. We received the paint and did the painting; the remaining paint that we did not use was allocated to painting a wall at the skate park.
Who are the figures in this graffiti?
A girl with red hair and a portrait of 2Pac.
How long did it take to paint the graffiti?
How long did it take? I don't know—two days, several hours a day, 13–15 hours.
Can your projects be seen anywhere else in Bolesławiec?
There are no more of our works in the city apart from the one at the skate park, although I admit that I would really like to create a few cool murals in the city, of course with the permission of the city authorities.
Any plans for new murals?
I dream of creating a mural commemorating the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. Plus several other really cool ideas, but everything depends on whether our authorities will give us locations and permission to create various murals. So there are plans, but whether anything will be created does not depend on us, only on the city authorities.
