We have written repeatedly about the growing problems with finding vacant parking spaces in Bolesławiec. Recently, we received two more reports about drivers who, by parking their vehicles, make it difficult for other drivers to pass, especially bus drivers. One concerns parking in front of the school on Jana Pawła II Street.
We wrote about this location and the parking situation back in March this year in the article: They Repeatedly Park in the Bus Bay. Drivers of passenger cars continue to park there as they did before, making life difficult for MZK drivers.
The second location is the bend in the residential road on Starzyńskiego Street. A reader writes:
Starzyńskiego, the bend behind the pizzeria. Please intervene. The municipal police disregard our requests and phone calls. In addition, the municipal police have a camera on the building by this bend, and despite seeing what is happening there, they do nothing to help. Buses drive onto the pavement to pass each other. And this happens every day.
We notified the Bolesławiec Municipal Police about both locations. Is there any way out of this situation? On the one hand, it is difficult to blame the drivers of larger vehicles, who have trouble getting through because of such parking. On the other hand, there are passenger-car drivers who often have nowhere to park. So what should be done? What do you think?
