On Monday (October 1), officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec received a report of the theft of a phone, along with a bank card and an identity card. The crime took place in the Osiecznica municipality.
Police quickly identified and detained the suspect. The woman did not have the stolen items with her; however, based on the information gathered, the officers found a hiding place containing all the items originating from the crime.
The 21-year-old woman was charged in connection with the case. She faces up to 5 years in prison for the crime committed.
The police handed the recovered items over to their rightful owner.
