One of the items on the agenda of the September session of the Bolesławiec City Council was a vote on a draft resolution concerning changes to the city budget for 2018, which included, among other things, PLN 100,000 for the Bolesławiec ZOZ.

Before the councillors made their decision, Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz spoke. Piotr Roman’s deputy stressed that the resolution in question forms part of a series of measures undertaken by Bolesławiec City Hall to help the county hospital. He added that the councillors were familiar with the facility’s situation and understood that its sound condition was a priority for the residents of the City of Ceramics.

The deputy head of the city administration thanked the municipal officials for enabling both Bolesławiec hospitals—the county and regional hospitals—to benefit from the Municipal Commune’s assistance.

Jarosław Kuc, a doctor at the county hospital, told the councillors, among other things, about the equipment-related problems faced by the ZOZ. He also asked them to raise their hands in favour of the resolution.

The councillors unanimously adopted the resolution. The PLN 100,000 will be used to purchase a cardiac monitor for critically ill patients, designed for the non-invasive measurement of cardiac output.
