– The 4th PKO Charity Run has already taken place at twelve stadiums across Poland. During the event, the number of 400-metre laps completed by relay teams was converted into money that will go to children in need, say the organizers of the Bolesławiec BBL event. – This year, selected BiegamBoLubię venues will also join the effort to help, with a delay of around two weeks.

In Bolesławiec, the run will take place on Wednesday, 26 September at the athletics Orlik facility on Komuny Paryskiej Street. It starts at 6:00 p.m..

The run is open to teams of five relay runners, whose task is to complete as many 400-metre laps as possible within 60 minutes. The number of changes is unrestricted, but each runner must cover at least 400 metres during one stint.

After the run, and once the completed kilometres have been counted, the organizers send documentation summarizing the event. On this basis, Bank PKO will donate money to children in need from Lower Silesia.

– So, the more teams there are, the greater the assistance provided by the organizers will be. Last year, the residents of Bolesławiec covered 114 km and 115 m. Registration for this year’s run is open from 5:20 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.. Start: 6:00 p.m. – the organizers remind participants.

They add: – You are invited.
