The incident occurred on Thursday, September 20, at around 7:00 a.m., on General Nila Street. The 35-year-old Romanian climbed onto the roof of the Galeria and began vandalizing it. Among other things, he damaged the gutters and lightning rod. The preliminary losses were estimated at least a dozen thousand zlotys.
The man was detained by the police. Why he was vandalizing the roof is unknown. He was probably under the influence of intoxicants.
Police activities in the case are ongoing. The Romanian citizen may face up to five years in prison.
