Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters received a report from the victim that someone had used his payment card a dozen times. (The transactions visible in the victim’s bank account showed that, at short intervals, the perpetrator had used someone else’s card at various locations in the City of Ceramics).
The officers established that the perpetrator was a 16-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. (He was proved to have committed 12 offences).
Using someone else’s card, the teenager paid, among other things, for shopping and fuel. (He refuelled his friend’s car.) The card owner lost a total of more than PLN 270.
The minor admitted to the offence. He will now face a family court for his actions.
