The incident occurred on Thursday, September 13, before 7:00 p.m., on National Road 30. A 27-year-old woman from Lubań County, who probably lost control of the vehicle, drove into a ditch and hit a tree.
The driver died at the scene, while the 45-year-old man traveling with her, who had suffered serious bodily injuries, was taken to hospital. Unfortunately, he died during the night.
The investigation into the case will now be conducted by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zgorzelec. As part of the proceedings, all the circumstances and causes of the tragedy will be clarified.

We appeal to drivers to exercise caution and good judgment. Let us remember that when setting out on a longer journey, we should be well rested.
