The robbery took place on Sunday, August 26, during the night, in the Przylesie housing estate in Lubin. Two attackers approached a man sitting on a bench beneath an apartment block. They asked him to lend them a few złoty. The man they addressed told the pair that he had no money. The aggressors then said that, in that case, they would take it themselves.

The man was struck several times in the face. The pair of attackers took his wallet containing documents, bank cards and 200 złoty in cash, as well as a phone worth approximately 1,000 złoty.

Immediately after the robbery, the criminals, as if nothing had happened, went to a petrol station and bought food, alcohol and petrol.

The robbers were detained. Both are residents of Lubin. The 27-year-old could face up to 12 years behind bars. The 16-year-old aggressor will answer for his actions before a family court.
